Ear, Nose and Throat

Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat  “ENT” Physician) is the medical and surgical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, management, and treatment of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck.   ENT physicians provide care to patients of all ages.   An ENT physician may perform routine procedures within the physician’s office or more complicated operations requiring a medical team within the hospital.  Patients are often referred to the ENT physician by a primary care physician, though self-referrals may be acceptable within certain health plans and insurances.
