Foot and Ankle Clinic

Podiatry is the study and treatment of conditions of the foot, ankle and lower extremity. A podiatrist can diagnose and treat conditions from foot and ankle injuries to arthritis. A podiatrist can help manage diabetes and cardiovascular disease to prevent foot related issues related to these conditions as well as skin disorders such as athlete’s foot, psoriasis, corns and calluses. A podiatrist can also treat bunions, hammer toes and toenail problems. Treatment of foot and ankle conditions can include shoe inserts, custom orthotics or surgery. Patients are often referred to the Podiatrist by a primary care provider, though self-referrals may be acceptable within certain health plans and insurances.
